뉴욕한국문화원 영화 <미나리> 특별 상영회

 

2월 26일(금)~27일(토) 2일간 상영 -

2월 19일(금) 오전 10시부터 예약접수 시작, 관객 200명 선착순 -

 

뉴욕한국문화원(원장 조윤증)은 오는 2월 26일(금)~27일(토)까지 2일간 ‘골든 글로브 최우수 외국어영화상 부문’ 후보 영화 <미나리> 온라인 특별 상영회를 개최한다. 선착순 200명에게 무료로 관람할 수 있는 기회를 제공하는 이번 행사는 2월 19일(금) 오전 10시부터 온라인 예약을 받으며 배급사인 A24 Films 온라인 플랫폼을 활용하여 관람을 지원할 예정이다. 

 

신청방법은 뉴욕한국문화원 홈페이지 (www.koreanculture.org)에 접속한 후 원하는 날짜를 클릭하여 신청할 수 있으며 예약자에 한해 영화 관람을 위한 정보가 전달될 예정이다. http://kr.koreanculture.org

 

□ 영화 <미나리>

미국뿐만 아니라 세계적으로 주목 받고 있는 영화 <미나리>는 한국계 미국인 정이삭 감독이 메가폰을 잡고 한국계 할리우드 배우 스티븐 연과 현재까지 여우조연상 22관왕 기록을 세운 한국배우 윤여정 등이 출연하였다. 

한편, 영화 <미나리>는 현재까지 ‘제36회 선댄스영화제’-심사위원대상(미국 극영화) 관객상을 비롯하여 ‘제92회 미국비평가협회상’, ‘제46회 LA비평가협회상’, ‘제41회 보스턴 비평가협회상’, ‘제19회 워싱턴비평가협회상’, ‘덴버영화제’, ‘제14회 미국 여성영화기자협회’ 등에서 각본상 작품상 여우조연상 아역배우상 및 음악상 등 수상으로 65관왕에 오르는 기록을 세웠다.

A tender and sweeping story about what roots us, Minari follows a Korean-American family that moves to an Arkansas farm in search of their own American Dream. The family home changes completely with the arrival of their sly, foul-mouthed, but incredibly loving grandmother. Amidst the instability and challenges of this new life in the rugged Ozarks, Minari shows the undeniable resilience of family and what really makes a home.
