고진영(Jin Young Ko, 24)이  미국여자프로골프(LPGA)투어 시즌 네번째 메이저 대회인 에비앙 챔피언십(Evian Championship, 총상금 410만달러) 우승을 차지하며 세계 랭킹 1위에 올랐다.

고진영은 28일 프랑스 에비앙레뱅의 에비앙 리조트 골프클럽(파71·6천527야드)에서 열린 대회 마지막 날 4라운드에서 버디 5개와 보기 1개로 4언더파 67타를 치며 우승컵을 거머쥐었다. 고진영은 시즌 첫 메이저대회 ANA인스퍼레이션에 2승으로 지난 1일 박성현(26)에게 내줬던 세계랭킹 1위 자리를 5주만에 되찾았다.
