뉴질랜드 출신 여성 지휘자 젬마 뉴(Gemma New)가 지휘하는 뉴욕필은 말러의 심포니 5번에서 모차르트, 슈베르트의 '미완성 교향곡' 등을 선사했다.

A journey from the somber to the sublime. Gemma New conducts Mahler’s ode to his wife, Mozart’s eloquent dirge, Schubert’s most beloved symphony, Jessie Montgomery’s vivid musical depiction of the Lower East Side of her youth, and Carlos Simon’s Beethoven-inspired paean to triumph over fate.
