임윤찬(18) 밴 클라이번 콩쿠르 최종 결선 진출

2022 CLIBURN COMPETITION FINALISTS ANNOUNCED

피아니스트 임윤찬(Yunchan Lim, 18)이 2022 밴 클라이번 콩쿠르 최종 결선에 진출했다.

임윤찬은 최종 결선 진출자들 중 최연소자. 14일부터 18일까지 드미트로 초니(28·우크라이나), 안나 지뉴쉬네(31·러시아), 일리야 슈무클러(27·러시아), 클레이튼 스티븐슨(23·미국), 울라지슬라우 칸도히(20·벨라루스)와 최종 라운드에서 심사위원장 마린 앨솝이 지휘하는 포트워스 심포니 오케스트라와 2개의 콘체르트 연주로 경합할 예정이다.

밴클라이번 콩쿠르 시상식은 18일 열린다. 밴 클라이번 콩쿠르 2017에선 선우예권이 우승을 차지했다.

임윤찬은 2006년 경기도 시흥시에서 태어나 예원학교를 거쳐 한국예술종합학교에 재학중이다. 11세에 금호영재콘서트로 데뷔했으며, 클리블랜드 청소년 피아노 콩쿠르 2위(2018), 윤이상국제음앙콩쿠르 1위(2019)를 수상했다. 한국예술영재교육원에서 피아니스트 손민수 교수를 사사하고 있다.

2022 CLIBURN COMPETITION

FINALISTS ANNOUNCED

Tonight, after an intense Semfinal Round with each of the competitors performing a 60-minute recital and a Mozart concerto with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, the jury has announced the six finalists of the 2022 Cliburn Competition.

FINAL ROUND + AWARDS CEREMONY PACKAGE

Six competitors perform two concertos, to be selected from two separate lists, with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and conductor Marin Alsop. This package includes all four Final Round Concerto Concerts and the Awards Ceremony. The Awards Ceremony follows the June 18 Final Round Concert, where the 2022 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition Gold, Silver and Bronze Medalists are announced.
