<Update> 한인 성악가 3인 결선 진출

 

소프라노 김효영, 테너 듀크 김, 베이스-바리톤 한종원씨 등 10인이 5월 9일 2021 메트로폴리탄 오페라 콩쿠르 결승전에 진출했다. 이들은 오는 5월 16일 오후 3시 그랜드 파이널 콘서트에서 최종 경합을 벌이게 된다. 우승자들은 상금 2만달러, 결승전 진출자들은 상금 1만 달러를 받는다. 이날 콩쿠르는 메트오페라에서 스트림된다.

2021 메트 성악가 콩쿠르 준결승(23인)에 진출한 김효영, 듀크 김, 한종원씨

 

2021 메트로폴리탄 오페라의 성악 콩쿠르(Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions) 준결승전에 한인 소프라노김효영(Hyoyoung Kim), 테너 듀크 김(Duke Kim), 베이스-바리톤 한종원(Jongwon Han)씨 등 23명이 진출했다.

 

미국, 캐나다, 멕시코에서 1천200여명의 경쟁자를 가운데 선정된 23인의 성악가들은 오는 5월 9일 오전 11시 준결승전을 거치며, 통과한 이들은 5월 16일 오후 3시 최종 결승전(Grand Finals Concert)에 참가한다. 최종 우승자들은 각각 2만 달러의 상금과 함께 메트 무대 진출의 기회가 주어진다.  

 

메트오페라 하우스에서 열리는 콩쿠르 준결승, 결승전은 메트 웹사이트에서 무료로 스트림할 예정이다. '오페라계의 등용문'인 메트 콩쿠르 준결승-결승 콘서트에서 참가자들은 주로 오페라의 유명 아리아를 부른다. 청중은 미래의 예비 스타들의 경쟁을 심사하는 기분으로 즐길 수 있다. 다음 링크에서 등록 후 볼 수 있다. https://concerts.kiswe.com/metopera

Week 61 – National Council Auditions Alumni Week

 

메트오페라는 무료 스트림 61주째인 5월 11일부터 16일까지 콩쿠르 출신 성악가들이 출연하는 오페라 '라 보엠' '돈 조반니' '트리스탄과 이졸데' '장미의 기사' '세빌리아의 이발사' '로베르토 데뷔레'를 제공한다. 5월 14일엔 수잔 프롬키 감독의 메트 콩쿠르 다큐멘터리 '오디션(The Audition)'을 스트림한다.
