시카고아트인스티튜트가 60여년간 소장해온 발튀스(Balthus)의 회화를 소더비 경매에 내놓았다. 1948년 작인 이 그림의 제목은 '고독/ 인내(Solitaire/ La Patience)'으로 솔리테어 게임에 열중하고 있는 모델 자네트 알드리를 묘사했다. 발튀스는 스위스 프리부르 살 때 그린 것으로 알려졌다. 시카고아트인스티튜트는 다른 작품 구입을 위해 소장품을 판다고 밝혔다.
