맨해튼 지방 검찰청이 미 수사관들이 나치에 의해 약탈된 것으로 추정되는 오스트리아 화가 에곤 쉴레의 그림 등 7점을 나치에 살해된 컬렉터의 후손에게 반환하기로 결정했다. 유대인 컬렉터 프리츠 그룬바움(Fritz Grünbaum)이 소유했던 그림은 “Girl Putting on Shoe”(MoMA), “Self-Portrait”(모간라이브러리),  “Portrait of the Artist’s Wife, Edith” (사타바바라미술관), “I Love Antithesis”(로날드 라우더), “Portrait of a Boy (Herbert Reiner)” “Seated Woman” (세르주 사바라스키-노이에갈러리 창립자), “Russian Prisoner of War”(시카고아트인스티튜트), “Portrait of a Man”(피츠버그 카네기미술관), “Girl with Black Hair”(오벌린 알렌메모리얼미술관) 등이다. 오스트리아의 만화가, 카바레 스타이자 작곡가였던 그룬바움은 450여점을 수집했으며, 그중 쉴레의 작품 81점이 포함됐다.
