US Open accepting portfolio submissions for 2027 US Open theme art consideration

The US Open theme art does more than decorate the grounds of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center—it tells the story of the tournament, inspires the next generation of athletes, honors the sport’s history and unites millions of fans from across the globe.

Theme art is a vital element of our event, capturing the essence of tennis and celebrating the vibrant energy that fills the grounds during the three weeks of the US Open. In 2026, we celebrated our New York story with theme art created by Brooklyn-based artist Eugenia Mello (Top Image).

Now, we're looking for the next artist who can deliver an iconic design to connect tennis fans around the world through the power of art.

Artists interested in being considered to design the 2027 US Open theme art can now submit their portfolios for review.

Please submit links no later than Friday, October 23, 2026 at 11:59PM EDT for consideration.

We are currently on the hunt for our 2027 Theme Artist and we are inviting artists to submit a link to their current portfolios below for consideration in the US Open Theme Art project. We encourage artists of all backgrounds and styles to participate. Your unique perspective could be the key to creating a Theme Art that captures the hearts of millions.
