Peanuts presents Snoopy in Style NYC—a multifaceted exhibition celebrating Charles M. Schulz’ comic strip through the lens of fashion, creativity, and culture. 

 

Opening September 2 in NYC, the exhibition features richly detailed installations curated by the Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center, a collection of one-of-a-kind Snoopy and Woodstock plush dolls dressed in custom designer creations, an exclusive gift shop, and rare archival pieces highlighting the legacy of Charles M. Schulz and his enduring impact on pop culture, fashion, sports, and music.

On October 2, 1950, Charles M. Schulz introduced a brand-new comic strip with an unlikely round-headed hero, “Good ol’ Charlie Brown.” PEANUTS was born.

 

In 2025, Peanuts Worldwide celebrated the 75th Anniversary of Charles Schulz’ beloved creation, and the whole gang of personalities who have joined the cast along the way: philosophical Linus and his crabby big sister Lucy; piano-playing Schroeder; attention-grabbing Sally; history-making Franklin; not to mention Peppermint Patty, Marcie, Pigpen (and his famous dust cloud) and more. But no one has stolen the show quite like Snoopy, the coolest beagle on the planet.

 

From humble beginnings in just seven U.S. newspapers, PEANUTS has grown to become not only the best-loved comic strip in history, but a true global phenomenon. Today PEANUTS is featured in online syndication and in thousands of newspapers worldwide; in classic specials and in new streaming series on Apple TV+; and in mobile apps, stage productions, feature films, and books (hundreds of them). PEANUTS has inspired theme park attractions, public art projects, and every kind of consumer product from pj’s to popcorn makers. Snoopy has even gone to space (more than once!) thanks to a Space Act Agreement between Peanuts Worldwide and NASA. PEANUTS speaks a universal language—and has also introduced a vocabulary all its own: “Good grief!,” “security blanket,” “You blockhead!” and “Happiness is… .”
