1976년 4월 1일 대학을 중퇴한 두명의 스티브가 애플(Apple)을 창업했다. 스티브 잡스와 스티브 워즈니악이 캘리포니아주 로스알토스의 한 교외 주택 차고에서 시작한 애플의 창립 50년 주년을 맞아 네덜란드 유트레히트에 애플 뮤지엄이 오픈했다. 박물관 설립자는 애플 리셀러 매장인 'Amac'의 소유주인 에드 빈델스(Ed Bindels)로 소장품이 5천여점에 달한다. 1만7천평방 피트(약 480편) 규모의 박물관 첫 전시에선 1976년 출시된 애플I를 비롯 '애플 리사(Apple Lisa, 1983)', 1990년대 후반부터 2000년대 초반까지 다양한 색상으로 출시되었던 '아이맥 G3(iMac G3)' 시리즈, 그리고 초기형 '아이팟(iPod)' 등이 선보인다. 이와 함께 빈티지 iMac 벽면과 스티브 잡스의 차고 재현 공간도 마련됐다. https://applemuseum.nl
