UGCB 2025 보르도 빈티지 수확 리포트 A Brilliant Vintage
2025: A BRILLIANT VINTAGE

After an epic 2024 Vintage, shaped by the challenges of an exuberant nature, the 2025 harvest is emerging under the most promising of horizons. Marked by exceptional earliness, the crop shows an exciting qualitative potential, albeit with yields that are at times historically low.
PROMISING PROFILES IN ALL THREE COLORS
#Red wines : After a dry summer, the late-August rainfall halted sugar accumulation, resulting in moderate alcohol levels (13 -13.5%). The various grape varieties show beautiful concentration and polished tannins. Remarkable for its balance and freshness, this highly approachable style is perfectly suited to current preferences.
#White wines : In the Graves and Pessac-Léognan appellations, harvesting began early, as soon as the beginning of August. The whites stand out for their aromatic brightness and freshness, offering clean, expressive profiles that will delight from their youth.
#Sweet wines : In Sauternes and Barsac, botrytis set in very early, encouraged by the late August rains. This welcome precocity has brought freshness and aromatic intensity, ensuring both balance and complexity. The first pressings confirm a very high potential, in a fresh and elegant style.
“Despite a warm summer, 2025 embodies a classic style – balanced, fresh, with silky tannins – perfectly aligned with contemporary taste,” notes François-Xavier Maroteaux, President of the Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux.
