그리고, 맨해튼 퍼블릭시어터의 신진작가 그룹에서 개발된 희곡 'My H8 Letter to the Gr8 American Theatre'를 집필했다.

Hi, I'm Diana Oh. I describe myself as an open channel to the Art that feels good to my body driven most by pleasure, mutual care, and keeping things heart-centered. I'm a multi-disciplinary artist whose work transcends traditional boundaries, blending performance, music, and ritual to create transformative experiences. My creations are deeply rooted in themes of celebration and empowerment, particularly for marginalized groups. I am also an Actor, Singer-Songwriter, and Musician.
Among my most notable works is {my lingerie play} (New York Times Critics Pick), a series of ten underground performance installations where I, dressed in lingerie, used public spaces to confront issues of violence and reclaim agency. The New York Times described it as “a glitter bomb of feminist and queer protest that feels just right for this cultural moment” .
The Infinite Love Party (New York Times Critics Pick), was my favorite thing I've ever gotten to make. It was a wedding for the world. An intentional barefoot potluck dinner, dance party, and sleepover for queer and trans people of color (QTPOC) and their allies, fostering connection and celebration. Similarly, CLAIRVOYANCE, a residency at the American Repertory Theater, culminated in a series of installations and a concert that centered queer magic and community healing. The Gift Project was presented on April 9 and 10, 2022 at Symphony Space's Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theater in New York City. The project involved creating original music inspired by interviews with elders born in 1956 or earlier, who had overcome significant challenges. Each elder received a personalized song as a gift, combining their stories with live music and documentary footage in a performance that celebrated their lives.
My accolades include being named a Refinery29 Top LGBTQ Influencer, a USA Fellow in Theatre and Performance, A Williamstown Theatre Festival Playwright-in-Residence and a Sundance Institute Fellow. I have also received the Helen Merrill Award and the Steinberg Playwright Award.
I currently sow the seeds for A Rare Bird, a choreo-play that I have written and I am directing, based on my relationship with tantra, desire, and my yearlong study of epigenetics for which I have won the Venturous Grant for. I wish to collaborate with healers who wish to intersect personal practice with the realistic, producing capacity of our bodies.
I also throw ART CHXRCH (MY FAVORITE!!!): a sober intentional binaural beat brain massage dance party for creatives and introverts for which I perform my vocal sonic ritualism and DJ for. To join the Rare Bird/ART CHXRCH Mailing List, click here.
Passionate about healing and queering processes, Oh’s work defies easy categorization. The New York Times calls their work “messy-beautiful,” and “[a] blend of compassion, defiance and practicality...with the joyous freedom to be yourself...” - The New York Times for Infinite Love Party covered by Laura Collin Hughes
