New York Transit Museum Nostalgia Rides

120년 역사를 자랑하는 뉴욕시 지하철, 옛날 기차를 타고 노스탈쟈에 빠져볼 수 있는 빈티지 기차가 운행된다. 

오는 6월 7일과 8일 오전 11시부터 오후 4시 사이 지하철 B/Q (브라이튼 비치-킹스 하이웨이) 플랫폼에서 기다리면 옛날 기차가 온다. 마치 영화나 TV 촬영장 속의 배우가 되는 기분으로 뉴욕의 빈티지 기차와 빈티지 여행을 떠나보자. 

뉴욕시교통박물관(New York Transit Museum)이 주최하는 노스탤쟈 라이드(Nostalgia Rides)는 올해 세번째다. 3월 27일 정오엔 뉴욕 프로야구 양키즈 시즌 게임 개막을 맞아 4트레인을 그랜드센트럴에서 브롱스 161 스트릿 양키 스태디움까지 논스탑으로 운행했다. 두번째는 뉴욕 메츠의 홈 경기 개막을 맞아 4월 4일 정오 맨해튼 허드슨 야즈에서 퀸즈 멧츠-윌레스 포인트까지 빈티지 7 트레인을 운행했다.

Throughout the year, the Transit Museum offers opportunities to ride our beloved vintage fleet of trains to destinations all over the city. See our trains up close and experience them the way they were intended—in operation on the rails. Sit on the seats, hold onto the straps and handrails, read the vintage advertisements, and travel through time. New York Transit Museum Nostalgia Rides transport straphangers to another age, using the same equipment that city dwellers rode over the last 120 years.
