이재명 전 더불어민주당 대표, 블랙핑크 멤버 로제, 그리고 배우 다니엘 대 김이 2025 주간 타임(TIME) 선정 '올해 가장 영향력 있는 인물 100인'에 선정됐다. 

 

타임지의 에디터 찰리 캠벨이  지도자 부문에 오른 이재명 대표의 출생과 극적인 인생을 소개했다. 농가의 7자녀 중 다섯째로 태어나 매일 초등학교를 왕복 16km씩 걸어 다녔고, 공장에서 미성년자로 일하다가 손목 부상을 당했으며, 시장과 도지사를 거쳐 2022년 대통령 선거에서 윤석열에게 패한 후 목을 찔리는 사건 등 순탄치 않은 삶을 겪었다고 전했다. 이재명은 12월 (계엄령) 선포 당시 윤석열 탄핵을 주도했고, 계엄령 해제를 위해 경찰의 봉쇄를 피해 국회 담장을 오르는 모습이 생중계됐다. 야당 대표로서 이재명은 다가올 선거에서 확실한 승리를 보인다고 전망했다. 지도자 부문엔 이외에도 도날드 트럼프, 일론 머스크 테슬라 CEO 등이 올랐다. 

 

아티스트 부문에 오른 다니엘 대 김의 프로필은 영화 감독이자 '로스트'의 공동 제작자 J.J. 에이브람스가 썼다. 그는 다니엘 대 김이 "재능, 기술, 평등을 옹호하는 인간성을 겸비해 자연의 힘이 된다"고 에피소드를 소개했다. 또한, 2021년 미국 내 반아시아계 폭력이 급증하자 하원 법사위원회에서 의원들에게 조치를 취할 것을 촉구하는 증언을 했다고 전했다. 아티스트 부문에는 이외에도 배우 스칼렛 요한슨, 가수 에드 쉬란, 화가 요시모토 나라, 건축가 아나벨 셀도프 등이 선정됐다. 

 

선구자 부문에는 블랙핑크의 로제가 선정됐다. 로제의 인물평을 쓴 TV 프로듀서 릴리 콜린스는 지난해 파리 생로랑쇼에서 친해진 후 진정성있고, 솔직하며, 멋질 뿐만 아니라 역동적인 퍼포머이자 작곡가라고 소개했다. 솔로 아티스트로서 경기장을 가득 메운 청중을 사로 잡는 능력이 정말 놀랍다고 썼다.
