Space 776 is pleased to announce our second New Year group show at our new annex in Chelsea. The show runs January 10th-24th, 2017. The opening reception will be Thursday, January 12, from 6-8 p.m.
In this group show, the six selected artists will be showing a concept unique to them.
A Long Island artist, Megan Sirianni Brand is showing grey abstract paintings. She repetitively painted these layers with varying mediums to express the depth she see in the images. Brand's works maybe be cohesive in there aesthic, but are divers in their physical dimensions.
Lynn Basa is another abstract painter from Chicago. She has a large work in hues of blue and violet representative of a seascape. The feeling of the salty ocean spray is palpable.
There is a different abstract painting that is representational of fire in the show. Korean Artist Iljin Jeong, his painting is very spiritual, strong and powerful.
Saehyun Paik is showing very minial work in new gold and silver paintings. Created within the new year.
Jaikwang Rim is a Korean artist who paints vegetation and flora. Viewers can see the works hold a myriad of colors contained in single subject and composition.
Dasha Bazanova is a Russian artist. She is showing her ceramic paintings and sculptures. Especially on of Donald Trump and Putin’s figure in sculpture.
