네덜란드처럼 웅장하지는 않지만, 뉴욕 인근에도 튤립 필드가 있다. 뉴저지 크림릿지에 자리한 홀랜드릿지팜(Holland Ridge Farms)은 뉴욕에서 75분 내 갈 수 있는 거리다.

1964년 네덜란드 이민자 얀센 가문이 시작, 2017년 153에이커의 농장 부지를 매입해 U-Pick(1송이에 1달러) 튤립 농장을 운영하고 있다. 여기에 올해는 규모를 2배로 확대해 300에이커에 800만 송이의 튤립을 심었다.

홀랜드릿지팜은 미 최대의 U-Pick 화훼농장으로 가을엔 해바라기밭이 펼쳐진다. U-Pick Tulip 이벤트는 5월 1일까지로 티켓($13)을 예약해야 한다.

Holland Ridge Farms is the biggest U-Pick Flower Farm in the USA. A pristine landscaped farm, bursting with millions of rainbow blooms including our famous tulips. We currently host two pick your own flower seasons – U-Pick Tulips in the spring and U-Pick Sunflowers in the fall.
