US 오픈 테니스(8/28-9/10) 시즌을 맞아 맨해튼 록펠러센터 플라자(49-50스트릿, 5-6애브뉴)에 테니스 코트가 설치된다. 8월 24일부터 9월 1일까지 운영되는 테니스 코트는 28일부터 대중에 공개되며, 종종 프로 테니스 선수들이 깜짝 등장도 할 예정이다. 

한편, 타임스퀘어에선 8월 24일 팝업 테니스 코트가 설치된다. 오후 1시부터 8시까지 선착순으로 테니스를 칠 수 있으며, 모든 장비가 제공된다.
