톰 포드 가죽 재킷, 테오리 블랙 팬츠나 진, 에르메스 슬립온 스니커

 

 

반도체 기업 엔비디아(NVIDIA)의 CEO 젠슨 황(Jensen Huang, 황런쉰, 황인훈)이 입던 톰 포드(Tom Ford) 디자인 가죽 재킷이 7월 17일 뉴욕 소더비에서 96만 달러(약 13억 3천만언)에 팔렸다. 온라인 경매에 단독으로 등장한 이 재킷은 전 세계 45명의 수집가가 총 62회에 걸쳐 입찰 경쟁을 벌인 끝에 최고 예상가인 6만 달러의 16배에 달하는 96만 달러에 낙찰됐다. 

 

이 재킷은 톰 포드의 2023 S/S 컬렉션 컬렉션으로 클래식 칼라와 가슴 포켓, 전면 지퍼 라인이 들어간 레더 트러커/바이커 재킷(Leather Trucker/ Biker Jacket) 스타일이다. 톰 포드 특유의 부드러운 나파/램스킨 가죽 소재가 특징으로 약 9천달러-1만 달러선에 팔렸다. 현재는 품절된 상태다.

New York, 17 July — In its first-ever appearance at auction, Jensen Huang’s iconic Tom Ford leather jacket – one of the most recognizable garments in contemporary technology – far exceeded pre-sale expectations in a standalone online sale at Sotheby's New York. Following 62 bids from 45 collectors around the world, the jacket realized $960,000, sixteen times its high estimate of $60,000.
