뉴요커 '아레사' 프랭클린 역으로 추모 열기

'소울의 여왕' 8월 16일 아레사 프랭클린이 췌장암으로 사망하자 그녀를 추모하는 뉴요커들이 맨해튼 트라이베카 프랭클린(Franklin)역에 '아레사'를 붙였다. 아레사 프랭클린은 맨해튼 어퍼이스트사이드 88스트릿에 살았었다.
한편, 워싱턴 D.D.의 초상화 갤러리는 17일부터 아레사 프랭클린 인물 작품을 특별전시하고 있다. 아이 러브 뉴욕 로고로 유명한 그래픽 디자이너 밀턴 글레이저씨가 제작한 아레사 포스터도 선보인다.
