LG Chamber Music School

CMS welcomes 15 students from the LG Chamber Music School in Korea for a week of chamber music coaching, culminating in a concert in the Rose Studio. They will perform works by Shostakovich, Beethoven, Fauré, and Schubert. Watch the live stream on our website on June 5 at 5 PM ET.
Every year during its Spring Festival, the LG Chamber Music School in collaboration with CMS presents an intensive, week-long coaching program for its promising young musicians in Seoul, Korea. The school is now in its ninth year and has been a successful model to promote chamber music in Korea.
This year, from May 31 through June 5, 2017, 15 students from the LG Chamber Music School will be visiting CMS here in New York to partake in coachings. The culmination of this year’s Spring Festival is a concert by the students, featuring works by Shostakovich, Beethoven, Fauré, and Schubert.
