이우환 화백이 6월 17일부터 11월 2일까지 프랑스 베르사이유 궁전(Château de Versailles)에서 신작전 '이우환 베르사이유(Lee Ufan Versailles)'을 열고 있다.
이 전시에는 루이 14세 때 조경건축가 앙드레 르 노트르(André Le Nôtre)가 디자인한 베르사이유 정원을 배경으로 10점의 신작이 소개되고 있다.
이우환 화백은 2011년 6월부터 9월까지 구겐하임 뮤지엄에서 회고전 ‘이우환: 무한의 제시(Lee Ufan: Marking Infinity)’를 연 바 있다.
