All content will be available both live and on demand for free to viewers around the world at cliburn2017.medici.tv—which will also host a variety of editorial content in English, Russian, French, and Mandarin Chinese.

3. WATCH IN CINEMAS

For the first time, the final two concerts of the Cliburn Competition will be shown in hundreds of cinemas across the United States, thanks to a partnership with Fathom Events. The Saturday, June 10, event begins 12:55 p.m. ET / 11:55 a.m. CT / 10:55 p.m. MT / 9:55 p.m. PT with a delayed broadcast of the June 9 concerto performances, and continues with a live presentation of the June 10 performances. 

Watch the final six competitors with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and Maestro Leonard Slatkin, in a presentation hosted by Elliott Forrest of WQXR-FM in New York City, the most-listened-to classical radio station in the United States.

A family-friendly musical production about the life and significance of Van Cliburn.

Cliburn in the Classroom, “Carnival of the Animals” McDavid Studio
Thursday, June 8, noon–1:30 p.m.
An interactive family-friendly show from the Cliburn’s music education program. Lunch available for purchase (no outside food or drinks).

Piano Lunches McDavid Studio
Wednesday, June 7, noon–1:30 p.m., and Friday, June 9, noon–1:30 p.m.Two free concerts featuring recitals by several non-finalist competitors. Lunch available for purchase (no outside food or drinks).

Final Round Simulcasts Sundance Square Plaza
Friday, June 9, 7:15–10:30 p.m., and Saturday, June 10, 2:45–8:00 p.m.
Live broadcasts on a large LED screen of finalists performing with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and Leonard Slatkin. Saturday includes the Awards Ceremony at 7:00 p.m. Cash bar.
